NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES, INCLUDING THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, WHO ARE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AS OF THE DATE OF ENTRY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
1) ENTRY PERIOD: Alaska Cruise For Two Sweepstakes (hereinafter the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:01 PM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) on June 23, 2025 and ends at 11:59 PM PDT on July 7, 2025 (the “Entry Period”)
2) HOW TO ENTER. To enter: a) visit https://mcconnells.com/pages/holland-america-sweepstakes during the Entry Period; b) enter your full legal name, a working email address and telephone number; and c) agree to comply with these Official Rules.
3) ADDITIONAL ENTRY TERMS. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person during the Entry Period. You must be 21 years of age or older at the time of entry and a legal resident of one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Employees and families of Sponsor, its subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates and related companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate families, are ineligible. Use of computer programs or other automated devices to enter the Sweepstakes are prohibited. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your on-line service provider will apply. Entries will be declared to be made by the authorized account holder, who is the natural person assigned to the account associated with the entry. Entries are subject to verification of eligibility and will be declared invalid if incomplete, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any person that tampers or attempts to tamper with an entry, the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or Sweepstakes website, violates the Official Rules or acts in an unsportsmanlike, obscene or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person or entity. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected or damaged entries due to internet services provider services, weather, technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications, whether caused by the sender, by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes that may limit the ability to participate or by any human error in the processing of entries. Entries received: a) must not disparage Sponsor, or any other person or entity affiliated with the Sweepstakes, b) must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous, libelous or that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age and c) must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any state where the entry is submitted
4) SWEEPSTAKES PRIZES. The Cruise Voucher is valid for one (1) ocean view stateroom for two (2) persons, including winner (the “Consumer(s)”) on any Holland America Line® brand cruise on an Alaskan itinerary of seven (7) days duration, subject to availability and blackout dates as determined solely by Holland America Line, N.V. (“Cruise”). Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $3,222 USD. Actual ARV of Cruise will be determined at time of booking and is dependent on dates of travel, duration of voyage, seasonal rates, and itinerary. Any difference between stated and actual value will not be awarded. Cruise Vouchers are subject to all terms imposed by Holland America Line, N.V. (“HAL”) and apply to cruise fare, government taxes and fees, required cruise expenses, and crew appreciation only. Cruise fare includes all regular onboard meals and entertainment. Alcoholic beverages, baggage fees and travel expenses (including but not limited to all shore-side hotel accommodations, airline fees and/or ground transfers to and from the ship), excursion fees, gratuities, discretionary hotel/dining charges, meals in alternate dining venues, onboard expenditures, boutique purchases, and any other expenses not specified as being included are the sole responsibility of the Consumer. All reservations and Cruise arrangements including, without limitation, the dates and times, are subject to availability (as determined solely by HAL), and restrictions such as capacity restrictions. Blackout dates including holidays may apply. HAL does not guarantee the Cruise will be available on the exact sailing dates requested by Consumer.
Subject to availability, the Consumer may upgrade to a higher cabin category by paying the difference between the Cruise covered by the Cruise Voucher and the cabin category of their choosing (if available). As with any customer booking a cruise, HAL will retain the option to facilitate the Consumer adding additional vacation features such as internet access, drink packages or upgraded room types (e.g., balcony) at the price available, as specified on the HAL website at the time of Consumer booking. The Consumer must book the Cruise no later than May 31, 2026 for sailings to be completed no later than September 30, 2026.
Cruise Vouchers are not redeemable for cash, are non-transferable, and the Consumer who receives the Cruise Voucher must book the Cruise and sail using the Cruise Voucher. Should the Consumer fail to embark, any other guests sailing in the cabin will be held responsible for the full cost of the Cruise. Cruise Vouchers are valid on new bookings only, not valid on previously booked sailings. No changes will be made to travel details once any element(s) of the travel arrangements have been booked, except at HAL’s sole discretion. Cruise Vouchers cannot be combined with any other offers, including but not limited to any HAL casino offer, any general HAL offer, or any third-party offer. No refund or credits shall be provided for any unused portion(s) of the Cruise Voucher. Any portion of the Cruise Voucher not accepted by the Consumer will be forfeited, and HAL shall not be responsible for any inability of a Consumer to accept or use any portion of the Cruise Voucher for any reason.
Cruise guests must meet all eligibility requirements to sail as described on HAL’s website as of the date of departure unless the Cruise guest is the child of the Consumer (in which case such minor guests must be accompanied at all times during Cruise trip by the Consumer). All Cruise travelers must have all necessary identification and/or Cruise documents (including, but not limited to, a valid passport, visa (if applicable) and all other necessary travel documents, which include any health certifications/proofs of vaccination that are required by HAL and/or applicable governments/ports) required for chosen Cruise. Cruise is subject to the terms and conditions of HAL’s Cruise Contract. As set forth in more detail in the Cruise Contract, HAL reserves the right to refuse to embark any traveler, at any time if, in the sole opinion of HAL, a traveler is unfit for any reason for the Cruise. HAL shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitution or any acts or omissions whatsoever by Cruise operators or any other persons providing any Cruise-related services or accommodations. Consumer and any guests are also responsible for obtaining travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) at their option and hereby acknowledge that HAL has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance. Lost, stolen or damaged Cruise Vouchers, will not be replaced or exchanged.
5) WINNERS SELECTION. Prize winners will be randomly selected on or about June 30, 2025 from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. Drawings will be conducted by Sponsor’s representative, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period. Prizes will be awarded, and potential winners notified, by email. Prizes are not assignable or transferable, and no cash substitution is allowed except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value if any advertised prize is unavailable.
6) NOTIFICATION OF POTENTIAL WINNERS. Potential prize winners who validly entered will be notified via the email address they used to enter approximately five days after their selection. If a potential winner of any prize is disqualified for any reason or does not respond within five calendar days of Sponsor’s initial notification, or if Sponsor’s notification or the prize is returned as undeliverable for any reason, the potential winner forfeits the prize and Sponsor will award the prize to an alternate winner by random drawing among the remaining eligible entries. Prize winners may waive their right to receive a prize, but will not receive an alternate prize or any cash value. Prize winners may be required to execute and return, within five days, an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release (where legal) or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. The return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
7) WINNERS LIST. For the Winner List, please send an e-mail to info@mcconnells.com with "Holland America 2025 Sweepstakes Winners List” in the subject along with the date of the relevant Sweepstakes Entry Period. Requests for the names of winners must be received no later than July 11th, 2025.
8) PUBLICITY. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants (i) authorize Sponsor to share personal information collected in connection with the sweepstakes with Holland America Line for purposes of prize fulfillment and for promotional email communications and (ii) agree to receive email newsletters, updates and other promotional communications periodically from Sponsor and Holland America Line. Entrants can opt-out of receiving communications at any time through the unsubscribe link in the email. Except where prohibited, by accepting a prize, winners authorize Sponsor and Holland America Line to publicly identify entrant as a winner and consent to Sponsor and Holland America Line, or anyone authorized on their behalf, to use and publish the winner’s name, sobriquet, likeness, biographical information, photograph, video, voice, opinions and hometown and state in any media for any commercial or promotional purpose, including, without limitation, advertisements, promotional materials, publications, Web sites, social media and any other media now or hereafter known, in perpetuity, without further consideration or review, and waive any right to inspect, approve or condition, or to be compensated for, such uses. Sponsor’s use of information collected from entrants is subject to the Privacy Policy located at https://mcconnells.com/pages/privacy-policy. Holland America Line’s use of information collected from entrants and received from Sponsor is subject to the Holland America Privacy Notice located at https://www.hollandamerica.com/en/us/legal-privacy/privacy-policy.
9) GENERAL RULES. By entering, entrant: accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules; releases Sponsor, Holland America Line, N.V., and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents and all others associated with the development and administration of the Sweepstakes (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from all liability for damages, losses or injury resulting from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, use, or misuse of the prizes; and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any third party claim arising from Sponsor’s use of the entry or winner’s name, sobriquet, likeness, biographical information, photograph, video, voice, opinions and hometown and state. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Sweepstakes if it is not capable of administration or completion as planned, including, without limitation, due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures or corruption of any sort, and award prizes from eligible entries received prior to cancellation. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and void where prohibited.
10) SWEEPSTAKES SPONSOR/ADMINISTRATOR. The Sponsor and Administrator of the Sweepstakes is McConnell's Fine Ice Creams LLC located at 800 N. Del Norte Blvd. Oxnard, CA 93030. Holland America Line is not responsible for the administration, execution or conduct of the Sweepstakes or selection of the winners.
11) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. NEITHER MCCONNELLE'S FINE ICE CREAMS LLC, ITS AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES OR AFFILIATED COMPANIES, OR THEIR ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION AGENCIES, OR THE RELEASED PARTIES SHALL HAVE ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY OR GOODWILL AS A RESULT OF, OR RELATED IN ANY WAY TO, THE SWEEPSTAKES OR PRIZES. IN ALL EVENTS, THE SOLE MAXIMUM LIABILITY OF SPONSOR AND ITS AFFILIATES, CONTRACTORS AND AGENTS SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE ARV OF THE APPLICABLE PRIZE(S). BY ENTERING, ENTRANTS RELEASE HOLLAND AMERICA LINE, ITS PARENT COMPANY, SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATES, AND EACH OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FROM CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THE SWEEPSTAKES OR THE ACCEPTANCE, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY PRIZE RELATED ACTIVITY.
12) GOVERNING LAW & VENUE. THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA SHALL GOVERN ANY CONTROVERSIES REGARDING THE SWEEPSTAKES AND THE STATE AND FEDERAL COURTS LOCATED WITHIN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA HAVE EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION OF THE SAME. EACH ENTRANT WAIVES ANY OBJECTIONS TO SUCH JURISDICTION AND HEREBY IRREVOCABLY SUBMITS TO THE VENUE OF THOSE COURTS.
